Ajax and Barcelona strengthen cooperation
Barça activists want Ajax to become a partner club. Both parties already have experience in mutual interests. After the transfers of Jasper Cillessen and Frenkie de Jong, the time has come to take the next step. The Spanish daily "Sport" reports that if an agreement is reached, the greatest talents of La Masia will be lent to Amsterdam. In return, Barcelona would be guaranteed the possibility of first purchase of the biggest stars of Ajax. Everything would be agreed on the occasion of the possible transfer of Matthijs de Ligt. The academies of both teams are excellent at training young players. They have a patent for the creation of world-class stars. Johan Cruyff was the originator of the idea of establishing a school for young football students in Catalonia. He drew his design from Amsterdam, where already in the seventies of the last century, the Ajax academy operated dynamically. A similar philosophy and approach to football has now led to the idea of permanent cooperation between the two clubs in the training of the youngest. Playing the greatest talents of La Masia in Eredivisie would give them much more than performing in the third Spanish league. The Dutch club has recently shown that they are very keen to cooperate with the Barcelona. When it was known that Frenkie de Jong would leave Ajax, Paris Saint-Germain offered a huge amount of money for a Dutch helper. However, activists from Amsterdam made it possible for the player to leave for Camp Nou, despite the fact that Barcelona offered a smaller amount of money. For the Dutch this is a great promotion of the club when every other player you play in one of the best teams in the world. Such close cooperation between clubs, in the context of winning players, can be observed among teams under the Red Bull brand. Red Bull Salzburg and RB Leipzig exchange players from time to time, depending on the needs of the team. It has to be admitted that they are doing quite well, which can be seen from the results achieved by both teams. Ajax and Barcelona will certainly not lose out on this cooperation, and they can gain a lot.
